So... it's been a while since I posted any puppet samples. I've been overhauling Luna for an upcoming animation, and for Snowdrop.
Changes since she was last revealed in Saturation:
-Colors updated to be more accurate -Mane updated to flow a little more realistically -Mane staggered by half the framerate -Stars updated to be more than just specks -Chest armor has glitter -Front pose totally reworked to be more accurate -Fly cycle implemented -Front walk cycle implemented. Might need some working out still
Walkcycles are still in 32 frames instead of 24, just cause she's bigger. Flycycle is half that, yet lacks any recoil or bobbing for the time being.
...yay.
I won't put her up for download til she's 100% done.
This rig was mostly done by me (vectoring in flash is a bitch, lemme tell you) but I still got some help with a few parts from vectors by and
I still pride myself in having such a nice Luna rig... Even if I have yet to fully demonstrate its use. :v
I think the legs should pick up a little higher. It looks really weird. The hooves should go back a bit more when they start lifting. It looks more like she is limping or she has something stuck between her forearms and back legs. Other wise good work with the Shape Tweens and how you used them for walking.
but......why do horses bend their forelegs that that. 0.o
also,how is the progress on the rig going?
As for progress, you can watch Snowdrop to get an idea of how adapted the rigs have become.
