Milestone marker for 1700 followers. Never fathomed that this blog would've gotten this far, with still so much more to come.

Okay I noticed on the Cellist version that Octavia's shadow is the same as the Mafia version, Is that on purpose?

Yeah. Originally I wanted to just do it with the cellist and a shadow where the gun is showing, but the method I used to make the shadow was complex enough to make a variant of her with her gun, so I just took the extra few steps.

I call it pseudovectoring-- making vector paths that are immediately rasterized. Attains a minimalistic look while still being quite detailed.

To the picture that is on your tumblr: I like that you added Flim and Flam with the creepy smile and no-smile, as he takes forward the gun to begin the assault at the scene which now brings me to suspect that you choose that song for a reason ;) As Vinyl plays on - Octavia handles the bad guys! :squee:
