The Soldier

I drew this about a year ago when my family was over on the east coast for a vacation. We were staying in a boring home we rented in South Carolina. Not a lot to do but sleep, watch old movies, and draw.

So this was one of the things that turned out. He's armed with a scimitar with a buckler, plus a badly-drawn knife hilt at his waist. Got the ideas for the weapons from Soul Caliber 2 and then just went from there on my sketch pad. Smoothed him out a bit in photoshop.

This is one of my favorite drawings. Mebbe I'll develop his character some day...
